Every person is unique.  The thrill of portrait photography comes when I know I have captured an image that conveys a truth about someone.  The slight tilt of a head, the angle of the light, the just emerging smile all come together in a singular instant to reveal a little bit of what is going on inside them or who they are.  This is the pursuit that inspired me to become a photographer and continues to excite me every time I meet someone new.
